- Brand designMediaParisian Frivolities A logo with a comic Opera air! Created in 2012 by Benjamin El Arabi and Mathieu Franot, the Opéra des Frivolités Parisiennes company brings the public to rediscover the light French lyrical repertoire of the 19th and 20th centuries: opéra-comique, opéra bouffe and musical comedy. Its orchestra wants to be the spiritual heir of the orchestra of the Opéra Comique which disappeared in the sixties. Depending on the project, it is a chamber orchestra with between 14 and 40 instrumentalists and is composed of musicians who are curious and specialists in this repertoire. In starting this project, the challenge was to find the right positioning between a light, joyful and even "frivolous" approach, and a more professional approach emphasizing the qualities of these exceptional musicians. It was a bit like creating a graphic union between a "Bel Canto" from the Third Empire and a "Diva" from the 1940s. The Codex wine design is a classic piece, which captures the meaning of the name. The Codices were manuscripts in books prior to the invention of the printing press, in which the capitular letters played a fundamental role, turned into works of art in themselves. Large embossed letters build the delicate and sensory label surface, almost sculpted on paper.

Cyprien GaillardMediaIn the winter of 2020, the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal (Mac) acquired Cyprien Gaillard's 3D film Nightlife as part of its collection. The artwork was shot entirely at night over the course of 2 years, using drones and other innovative imaging techniques. When asked to design the exhibition campaign, we decided to play with the graphic tools we developed prior for the MAC collection's visual identity, but brought in 3D elements that would graphically represent what one might see and feel while visiting this immersive experience.https://www.behance.net/gallery/94010453/Nightlife-Cyprien-Gaillard

TarantismoMediaFLEE is a cultural platform dedicated to the documentation and enhancement of hybrid cultures, meaning Alan Marzo, Olivier Duport and Carl Åhnebrink operate as a record label, publishing house and exhibition organisers. We were invited to design their second issue, an investigation on Tarantismo ? one of the most intriguing ceremonies in south Italy. TARANTISMO: Odyssey of an Italian ritual pays tribute to Pizzica, an antique music used to heal people suffering from a mysterious disease involving frenetic rhythms and maniac dancing. This release contemplated a Book with an in depth research regarding the cultural phenomena of Tarantismo, plus a Vinyl record including both original and reworked tracks.https://www.behance.net/gallery/94501657/FLEE-002-Tarantismo
