OrreryMediaOrrery is a modern French restaurant in Marylebone, originally designed by Terence Conran. An Orrery is a mechanical model of the Solar System that shows the relative positions and motions of the planets and moons. It's this that gave us the inspiration for the branding. For the logo, the letters orbit around the first letter of the name. Here we set the name in a geometric slab serif called Beton, which was used for its elegance and perfectly circular 'O'. We then took stills during different stages of the movement and printed it on business cards and various menus. A lot of the food is presented in a circular fashion at Orrery, so we worked with a marbling artist to create a series of marbling prints that play off the colours and feel of a number of dishes. On food menus, the marbling was printed within circles and came with small captions hinting back to one of the dishes on the menu. Website | lg2 MediaA strong digital paw print for Boréale's polar bear A pioneering leader in Quebec's microbrewery industry, Boréale wanted to completely revamp its website in order to renew love for the brand, a well-known name on the craft brew scene since 1987, and allow consumers to make their purchases online. Offering digital creative that wanders off the beaten path, the site opens up the Boréale universe to a wider audience to explore and rediscover, cements attachment among a passionate craft beer community and increases conversion to online sales of exclusive products. The creative and technological challenge revolved around maintaining this strong visual footprint (the polar bear) in an animated and colourful way that captures the Boréale character through each one of its unique and nordic-inspired products. We thus opted for a digital ecosystem based on an intuitive and natural navigation experience, defined by a clean artistic direction.
