La Boussole Vol.
14MediaLa Boussole is a printed aesthetic magazine that has been published in Ukraine since
2014. La Boussole translates from French as a compass, so the magazine consists of four sections. Each volume of the magazine is dedicated to one topic. In 2019 the editorial team decided to rebrand La Boussole and create a new cover and layout design. The new Volume 14 titled Search tells about inspiration, mindfulness, traveling, and everyday beauty. The rebranded magazine has Ukrainian and English texts, so we designed a convenient grid to work with bilingual content and a lot of photos. We decided to base a new cover on typography only, so we made the name La Boussole as large as possible. Plus, we added embossing on the letters to enrich the cover surface. For this volume, we chose lilac, red, and brown colors. Every next volume will have a unique color scheme.
